What happens when you take one of the most attractive muscle cars to ever come out of a Chevrolet factory, drop in 427 cubic inches of fire-breathing crate-packaged big-block V8 and connect it to a new T56 6-speed manual transmission? You get one of the most badass customs on the market, that's what. This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS restomod comes equipped with an absolutely awesome new drivetrain including the GM Performance crate V8 engine sitting under the hood, a 427 C.I. behemoth that puts out north of 480hp and 490 ft.-lb. of torque with a list price of over $17k that was purchased in 2022. Torque is stomped into the pavement through an equally brand-new T-65 "Super Magnum" 6-speed manual transmission with attachments, a transmission that delivers beautiful throttle response and was also installed in 2022 with a list price over over $8k. Even further, this Camaro has brand-new headers, purchased in 2021 that sound absolutely fantastic. This '68 Camaro comes complete with tons of new go-fast upgrades, including new body mounts, a raised suspension tunnel (with flat metal for 6-speed conversion over factory floor), new body mounts, a new clutch throw-out bearing, a new master cylinder, a raised crossmember, and a new control arm set. The undercarriage has been revised as well, with new coilover front suspension upgrades and an "F1 Pro-Touring" suspension kit that includes all of the aforementioned pieces, totaling over $4k for the suspension, headers, new clutch, and brakes. The exterior's laser-straight bodylines are covered in stunning silver paint with an excellent finish, the matte-black complimenting trim pieces and wraparound stripe helping to make this Camaro stick out like a sore thumb. The front and rear spoilers combine to give this car an intimidating look, and the cowl hood helps that massive 427 to breathe! Opening the twin doors and stepping inside reveals an updated interior with black vinyl trim in fantastic shape, with gorgeous brand-new TMI bucket seats that are perfect for cruising and equally new, recently-installed Dakota Digital gauges. This Camaro comes equipped with even more options not already mentioned, including power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, a 10-bolt rear end with 3.23 gearing, a custom "AutoSound" stereo system, aftermarket speakers, a custom center console and shifter, an aftermarket steering wheel, and a great-sounding dual exhaust system. The car rides on a striking set of blacked-out 17" wheels to match this car's black trim, which are wrapped with blackwall tires in order to give this RS a seriously intimidating appearance. Rest assured, with that 427 V8 under the hood, this is one super fast and fun driving Camaro that's tough to beat by any metric. If you're in the market for a turn-key restomod that you can drive and enjoy every day, then this '68 Camaro is it. Make it yours before it's gone!
