Unique cars are difficult to come by in the classic car marketplace, and Plymouth's beautiful full-size Fury definitely isn't what you usually see at your local car shows. This specific 1967 Plymouth Fury III really is a special car, being owned by only two families throughout its life on the road. In keeping with that low-ownership, this Fury comes with lots of documentation to prove its authenticity, including the original window sticker, the original warranty card, sales literature, and check that this car was bought with! Sitting inside the immaculate engine bay lies a strong, correct 383 C.I. V8 breathing through a 2-barrel carburetor, which makes more than enough horses for this Fury III to cruise. Torque is put to the pavement through an A-727 "Torqueflite" 3-speed automatic transmission, which shifts both smoothly and seamlessly. The exterior's quintessentially-'60s, laser-straight bodylines have been refinished in a stunning "Medium Blue Metallic" paintjob, which has a gorgeous shine in the sun. The chrome brightwork is also in excellent shape, a major feature of this Fury's appeal as the trim runs the length of the car from the beginning of the hood, running over the door handles, and extending all the way past the rear decklid, making this Fury look as if it's constantly in motion even if it's sitting still. The underside of this Fury III is also rock-solid, in fantastic shape with sturdy frame rails, floors, trunk and jambs. This '67 model is a Fury III, which is the highest trim level that the Fury was optioned with (I, II, & III levels). As a result, opening the twin doors to this Plymouth reveals a fantastic, deluxe two-tone blue vinyl interior, complete with comfy bench seats that are perfect for relaxed cruising. It's also in highly-original condition, and stepping into this Fury's interior is like stepping into 1967! This Plymouth is equipped with factory gauges, an original AM radio, a heater, a driver's-side remote chrome mirror, vent windows, and a sweet-sounding dual exhaust system. The car rides on a good-looking set of 15" 1990s Magnum-500 style wheels with trim rings to give this '67 Plymouth an appearance that's befitting of a true muscle cruiser. With that 383 V8 under the hood paired up to a 3-speed automatic, this Fury III runs and drives down the road effortlessly. And, with the low-ownership history and the amount of authenticity work that comes with it, you aren't going to see another quite like it. This '67 Plymouth Fury III can't wait to get back out on the road, and we'd love to see it in your driveway.
