If you're looking for a car that recalls the best of what each showroom-spec 1966 Mustang had to offer, then this may be your ride. This 1966 Ford Mustang is a truly special car, a unique survivor that retains nearly all of its original equipment and has an interior that feels just like stepping back into 1966. Powered by a correct 289 C.I. V8 breathing through a 2-barrel carburetor, this '66 Mustang isn't hurting for power in any way. Torque is put to the pavement through a 3-speed "C4" automatic transmission, which shifts smoothly and seamlessly as this Mustang speeds down the road. The exterior is covered in the correct M-code "Wimbledon White" paint, a quality job that's only been repainted once and still looks fantastic. It's laid out over this Mustang's laser-straight, curvaceous bodylines, and the original paint is still shown in the jambs, trunk, and engine bay! Complimenting those same bodylines is this Mustang's excellent chrome brightwork, which still has a great shine in the sun. Additionally, the floors, frame rails, and trunk floor are all rock-solid and in great shape! Opening the twin doors is like stepping back into 1966, where a gorgeous black interior awaits the driver with "Deluxe Pony" trim. It features comfy bucket seats, factory gauges, and a woodgrain steering wheel that completes the sweet '60s vibe that the interior gives off. Options on this highly-correct Mustang include power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, air conditioning, a remote driver's mirror, a spare jack and trunk detail kit, an updated AM/FM/Cassette stereo system, cruise control, factory gauges, vent windows, and a nice-sounding single exhaust system. The car rides on a slick set of 14" Mustang wheels over Uniroyal whitewall tires for a period-correct appearance, making this Mustang look as if it just drove off the showroom floor. Turn the key and the 289 V8 starts right up, making sure that this '66 Mustang runs and drives wonderfully down the road. With the combination of originality, correctness, and killer styling, this Mustang isn't going to last long on our showroom floor. We'd like to see you behind the wheel when it goes!
